  • What's Inside Matters

Ingredient names shouldn't simply appear on the back of your product and leave you wondering what they mean.

The Skincare Journal helps explain the ingredients behind OGSC products and their roles in cosmetic formulations.

Our ingredient education explores botanicals and other ingredients featured in our handcrafted bars, including:

    • Goat Milk
    • Oatmeal
    • Rosemary
    • Spinach
    • Turmeric
    • Orange
    • Ginger

As the OGSC Ingredient Library grows, you'll be able to learn what each ingredient is, why it's commonly used in skincare, why we selected it for a particular OGSC formula and which of our bars contains it.

From the Soapmaker

More Than 15 Years of Handcrafted Skincare Experience

OnGod Skin Care began more than 15 years ago when our founder, Vermelle Brown, started exploring gentler skincare options while caring for her daughter's dry, eczema-prone skin.

That experience eventually grew into years of making handcrafted soaps and body-care products and sharing them with family, friends and customers.
The OGSC Skincare Journal brings that firsthand experience into our educational content.

When an article discusses our experience making soap, working with ingredients or hearing from customers, we'll make that clear.

When an article discusses scientific or medical information, we'll look to credible outside sources and clearly distinguish published evidence from OGSC's firsthand experience.

Because earning your trust means being clear about the difference.
